REAL ESTATE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Introduction to the purpose, and scope of work, about the services to develop.

Project Management

A project can quickly and easily suffer from slipping deadlines, rocketing costs and poor
quality. To keep it under control you need someone with the experience to develop a solid
plan, the skills to deliver it and the composure to handle any surprises that might crop
up.

How we can help

We have successfully provided Project Management Services for all forms of procurement
and are regularly appointed as Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator on large
schemes throughout the EUROPE and overseas.
Our Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors can also work seamlessly to provide a ‘one
stop shop’ for your entire project and ensure it is delivered on time and to budget.
Our Project Managers can be the single point of responsibility for your project – from
inception to completion – and find the right balance between time, cost and quality.

We will use our best-practice processes for project plans, risk registers, issues logs, change
control registers, etc, but some other examples of how we can help you include:

Pre-construction advice

Correct project initiation is crucial to the success of the whole project. From feasibility
studies and design/specification advice, to planning applications and contractual
guidance, we can ensure your project is set-up in the correct way.

Acquisitions required for construction:

You’ll need the best project team on-board to provide the right mix of expertise and
experience. We can help run the tendering process because choosing the best
consultants and contractors will be crucial to your project’s success.

Employer’s agent

Under a ‘design and build’ contract, we can undertake as many duties as you require,
such as drafting the project execution plan, appointing design consultants and managing
third-party liaison. We can also act as lead consultant to manage your project on a day to
day basis.

Contract administration

Construction contracts can be long and complex and you will need someone to fulfill
your wide-ranging duties and protect your rights and obligations. We can manage all of
your contracts, including providing document control, and ensure there is strong coordination
of all activities and communication throughout.

The construction phase

When things are busy on-site, we can do all of the ongoing tasks, such as supervising
teams and managing site logistics. And because it’s important that your project is safe to
build, use and maintain we can ensure it complies with all health and safety legislation,
including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007. And working
closely with our Clerks of Works and Quantity Surveyors we can make sure that both
quality and cost are very closely monitored.

Project completion

Once your project is in its final stages, we can do all of the close-out ‘paperwork’, such as
the final submission of drawings, warranties, operating and maintenance manuals, etc.
